Dr. Waylon Zeng is a plastic surgeon with comprehensive training in aesthetic, reconstructive, and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Zeng earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. During medical school, he received a four-year institutional scholarship in recognition of his academic achievements and potential.
Before attending medical school, he graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. His undergraduate achievements included the University Scholars Program Award, recognition on the Dean’s List, and a Florida Bright Futures full-tuition scholarship.
Dr. Zeng completed his internship in general surgery and plastic surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. This early surgical training provided experience in patient evaluation, operative care, postoperative management, and the fundamental principles of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
He then completed a six-year integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. This comprehensive training encompassed the aesthetic and reconstructive principles involved in procedures of the face, breasts, and body.
Advanced Training in Aesthetic and Facial Surgery
Specialized postgraduate training has expanded Dr. Zeng’s knowledge of contemporary aesthetic surgery and advanced facial techniques.
Following his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency, Dr. Zeng pursued additional training in aesthetic surgery and deep plane facial plastic surgery. This advanced experience allowed him to further study modern approaches to facial rejuvenation and surgical planning.
His postgraduate training included experiences associated with Emory University in Atlanta and specialized facial plastic surgery practices in Miami and New York. Exposure to different surgical environments allowed him to observe a range of aesthetic philosophies and techniques.
Dr. Zeng also completed focused training in aesthetic surgery and facial feminization surgery in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. This training included experiences associated with established surgical practices and the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Zeng has worked as an aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Miami and as an aesthetic plastic surgeon in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. These roles have provided experience caring for patients with a variety of cosmetic concerns and personal objectives.
